Boost newsletter engagement with greater visibility
You can now distribute newsletters via Slack. Meet your employees where they are to reach wider audiences and increase open rates.
In addition, employees can receive in-app and mobile push notifications for new newsletters — but have complete control over notifications to avoid info overload. Instead of relying on email newsletters, the in-app and mobile push notifications increase real-time employee awareness of when newsletters are published.
To help continuously up your newsletter engagement game, newsletter analytics give better insight into employee behaviors. These insights help you understand how your people prefer to access newsletters. A new filter is added to newsletter-level analytics that allows you to segment newsletter access from the following newsletter referral sources: Slack, email and from within the intranet.
Last but not least, we’ve added enhanced input validation for all URL fields you put in the newsletter. This helps make sure no malicious code gets in, keeping everything safe and working correctly.
Make stronger content decisions with enhanced mobile analytics
Find out how various departments and locations consume content with our new mobile analytics content widget. This deeper dive into your data empowers you to make informed decisions and tailor your content strategy to meet the unique needs of your employees, including the frontline.
The dashboard also features new table functionality including pagination and column-based sorting.
Mobile UX improvements
We’re committed to supporting frontline employees and are beefing up capabilities on our mobile app.
- You can now share content via a simple “Copy link” modal throughout the mobile app, increasing content sharing and engagement across the organization.
- You can also play native videos directly from within the carousel, making it much easier to consume multimedia.
And the mobile app also supports our new newsletter push notifications!
Strengthening organizational alignment with additions to My Teams dashboard
To strengthen alignment, we released a new “Teams” dashboard in app analytics that gives a holistic view of different teams’ performances, sentiment and engagement levels. App managers can now track team status and trends over time and get an aggregated view on how the organization is doing as a whole, answering the question, “How are my people leader’s using the My Team insights?”
Additional leaderboards show how people managers are performing in their roles, and each people manager is measured by the performance score. The more engaged people managers are within the platform and with their employees, the greater their overall impact.
The people manager leaderboard measures people manager performance as a part of the Teams dashboard that gives App managers visibility into how engaged your people managers are with their team. You can view each manager’s team status, size of the team, and two scores:
- Performance score: Helps you identify top performing managers based on team engagement
- Opportunity score: The higher the opportunity score, the more their actions can impact overall platform adoption and engagement
The team status tells you whether the manager’s team is actively engaged with the intranet. However, it doesn’t tell you which team to focus on to have the greatest impact on the overall organization.
This is the first version of one of our most requested features, and we’ll continue to improve it! In the future, this dashboard will give more insight, using data from surveys to glean greater insight into the drivers of employee satisfaction.
Fine tuning EX with updates to Sentiment check and Pulse surveys

We’ve enhanced our listening suite for even more powerful insights:
- Pulse surveys: Add an optional free-text question to the end of pulse surveys to gather open employee feedback.
- Sentiment check listening page: Monitor sentiment checks relevant to your role, viewing average sentiment and analytics, and track content that has an active sentiment check.
